Mercedes-Maybach S600

This sumptuous limo is not just a stretched S-class with a Maybach badge - it’s far more lavish than that ordinary sedan. In creating a hyperluxury sedan this time around, Daimler played it safe and in the process it created a much better car.

A 523-hp, 6.0-liter twin-turbo V-12 provides effortless motivation while passengers enjoy hot-stone massaging, leather recliners. Touted as the world’s quietest car and with a standard Burmester audio system, the S600 is a rolling concert hall as well.

And forget that new-car smell the air-filtration system infuses the cabin with the Maybach’s own signature fragrance.

Besides the aforementioned champagne flutes, Maybach-exclusive interior features include bespoke wood trim inspired by the S-class coupe as well as hand-stitched leather on the door panels.

Bugatti Chiron

The Bugatti Chiron is a mid-engined, two-seated sports car, designed and developed in Germany by the Volkswagen Group as the successor to the Bugatti Veyron.
The Chiron was first revealed at the Geneva Motor Show in March 1st, 2016.

It will accelerate from 0-62mph in less than 2.5 seconds, 0-124mph in less than 6.5 and 0-186mph in under 13.6. Take a moment to let that last one sink in. That’s 2.9 seconds faster than a P1 and a second quicker than the Veyron Super Sport, bearing in mind that at 186mph a second equals a lot of fresh air - 83m of it to be precise.

Everything about the Chiron’s powertrain is super-sized. An improved charge air cooling system means 60,000 litres of air per minute are pumped through the engine, while the coolant pump can circulate 800-litres in the same time.

At full speed the 100 liter fuel tank would be empty in 8 minutes, that is 190 l/100 km or 4.5 kg CO2/km.

500 units are to be produced and 170 orders have already been placed. The Chiron will be available towards the end of 2016 with a cost of €2.4 million (circa £1.9 million, or $2.66 million US).
